Frequently asked questions

The add-in pane is empty or won't load

Refresh Outlook (Ctrl+Shift+R in the browser). If it persists, remove and re-add the add-in, and make sure your network allows access to mailmerge-outlook.pages.dev.

Sign-in fails or keeps prompting

The add-in uses your Microsoft account with the "Send mail as you" permission. If your organization blocks user consent, an admin may need to approve the app. Older Outlook desktop versions without modern sign-in support are not supported — use Outlook on the web or the new Outlook for Windows.

My recipients show "0 valid recipient(s)"

The first row of your file or pasted text must be column headers (e.g. Email,Name). Then pick which column holds the email address.

Sends fail or bounce

Emails are sent by Microsoft from your own mailbox, so Microsoft's sending limits and reputation rules apply: new tenants may be restricted from external sending for their first days, and onmicrosoft.com addresses are limited to 100 external recipients/day. Using a custom domain on an established mailbox resolves most delivery issues.

How do I activate Pro?

Open the add-in, connect your account, scroll to the License section, and paste your license key. The key is bound to your Microsoft account on first activation.

How do I uninstall?

In Outlook: Apps → right-click Mail Merge for Outlook → Remove. Your data stays in your mailbox; the add-in stores nothing on our servers.
